But Abraham remained standing before Yahweh - Then Abraham approached him and said...
Hebrews 4:16 says, "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
And Philippians 4:5b-6 says, "The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Part of Abraham's legacy and example to his descendants was his actions that showed his faith in God. Through Abraham remaining before Yahweh and asking his questions, we see that the God of all creation is willing for all those who believe in Him to come close and ask Him about whatever concerns them. Look how many times Abraham petitions God and each time Yahweh acknowledges his request, and grants it!
Trust that God is near and hears you and wants you to ask for His help. Tell Him all that is in your heart (He knows it already).
Who better to turn to?
